Syngonium Pink Allusion Leaves Fading? Light, Water, and Color

Syngonium Pink Allusion has those iconic soft pink leaves — but only with the right indoor conditions. Here's how to keep them blushing.

Bright Indirect — But Not Too Bright

Pink Allusion needs 300–500 fc. Too little (under 200 fc) = all green. Too much (over 800 fc) = burned crispy edges. East-facing window is the sweet spot in U.S. apartments.

Steady Moisture

Keep soil lightly moist. Drying out cycles trigger pinker new growth but stress the plant. Aim for slightly damp soil at all times — Pink Allusion is moisture-loving compared to other syngoniums.

Don't Overfertilize

Nitrogen-heavy fertilizer pushes green and reduces pink. Use bloom-booster or balanced fertilizer (5-5-5) every 6 weeks during spring/summer only.
